Shop Ironworkers fabricate the steel members and parts in the shop so that the field construction Ironworkers can erect the components safely, on budget, on time, and RIGHT the first time, enjoying IRON WORKER Representation as well. Employees of these shops have Iron Worker negotiated wages, benefits and excellent working conditions in their individually negotiated union/employer contracts. All fabricators producing fabricated steel, iron, and related products have a right to organize and join a Union if they so choose, which is guaranteed by the National Labor Relations Act through the National Labor Relations Board and the United States Constitution.
